Live-in care
Live-in care offers a reassuring, full-time alternative to residential care, allowing you to remain in the comfort of your own home with round-the-clock support. We know how important it is to feel comfortable with the person providing your care, which is why we take the time to introduce carers beforehand—ensuring a good match and building lasting, trusting relationships. Whether you need help with complex health needs or simply daily routines, our live-in care service is fully managed, removing the stress of employment responsibilities and providing peace of mind for you and your family. With consistent, high-quality support and contingency plans in place, we’re here to help you live as independently and safely as possible, every day.
Dementia Care
A dementia diagnosis doesn’t mean losing control or independence. With the right support, many people continue to live full, meaningful lives for years. For families, however, it can be overwhelming to balance care with work and other responsibilities. That’s where live-in dementia care can make a real difference—providing consistent, compassionate support while allowing loved ones to remain in the comfort of their own home.
Live-in care offers a personalised alternative to residential care, with one-to-one attention tailored to the individual’s needs, preferences, and routines. Our skilled carers not only assist with everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, and shopping, but also offer companionship, encouragement, and reassurance. We understand that every person with dementia is unique, and our approach reflects this—supporting both the individual and their family with kindness, professionalism, and dignity.
Caring for adults over 65yrs
Domiciliary care, also known as home care, provides personalised support for individuals who wish to remain in the comfort of their own home but need extra help with day-to-day tasks. A professional carer visits at agreed times to assist with activities such as light housework, personal care, meal preparation, and anything else needed to support independence and well-being. Home care also offers valuable respite for family members, giving them time to rest while knowing their loved one is in safe, capable hands.
Caring for adults under 65yrs
We also provide tailored home care for adults under 65 who may be living with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health conditions, or long-term health challenges. Our support is flexible and centred around each individual’s goals—whether it’s help with daily routines, building independent living skills, accessing the community, or managing health needs.
Our carers are committed to promoting choice, independence, and a fulfilling lifestyle at every stage of life.
Mental health conditions
At Luminary Care, the support we offer is shaped around your individual needs—whether you require just a few hours a week to build confidence and develop personal skills, or 24-hour dedicated care. Our goal is to empower you on your journey to improved mental health, independence, and well-being. Together, we’ll create a personalised care plan that supports you every step of the way, helping you regain control and confidence at your own pace.
Physical disabilities
We support individuals living with all types of physical disabilities—whether temporary or lifelong, inherited or acquired. Our care is fully personalised and designed around your unique needs and lifestyle, with flexible support ranging from a few hours a week to full 24/7 assistance. Many families rely on us for ongoing care, allowing them to plan regular breaks with confidence, often benefiting from the continuity of the same trusted carer. Our aim is to help every person we support lead a fulfilling, independent life and achieve meaningful goals that matter to them.
Sensory impairments
At Luminary Care, we understand the unique challenges that individuals with sensory impairments may face in daily life. Our focus is on promoting independence, accessibility, and overall well-being. We work closely with each person, their loved ones, and healthcare professionals to deliver care that is sensitively tailored to their needs. Our goal is to support individuals in living with confidence and dignity, while ensuring they remain connected, included, and empowered in every aspect of their lives.
End-of-life care
At Luminary Care, we provide compassionate end-of-life care to support individuals and their families during this deeply emotional time. Many people wish to spend their final days in the comfort and familiarity of home, and our dedicated carers are here to make that possible. We offer practical assistance, personal care, and gentle support around the home, while also being a reassuring presence for family members—providing both emotional and moral support when it’s needed most.
